4 factors affecting coating appearance and potential difference when produced with high-sulfur nickel additives

    1. The content of additives.The content of high-sulfur nickel additive Ni-320 has a great influence on the appearance and potential difference of the coating.When the Ni-320 content is less than 4ml/L, there will be white fog in the high current density area;When the content is 6~20ml/L, the coating can get bright coating from high area to low area.With the continuous increase of the content of high-sulfur nickel additive Ni-320, the potential difference will gradually increase.

    2. The influence of the temperature of the plating solution.The effect of temperature on the brightness of the coating is obvious. When the temperature is above 35 °C, the coating can only reach a semi-bright state, and the high area is easy to burn.It is recommended to control the temperature of the plating solution at 40~45℃, so that the brightness of the coating can be maintained.


    3. The influence of the pH value of the plating solution.With the gradual increase of the pH value of the plating solution, the potential difference of the coating will gradually decrease, but the brightness of the coating does not change significantly.During production, it is recommended to control the pH value of the plating solution to be around 4.0.

    4. The influence of current density.The current density of Ni-320 is wider, and it can be used in 0.5~5A/dm2, and there will be no burning phenomenon.Generally, as the current density increases, the potential difference of the coating will gradually decrease.Bigolly recommends that customers use Ni-320 to control the current density at 1~2A/dm2 for 2~3 minutes, so that a good appearance can be obtained and a sufficient potential difference between the coating and the bright nickel layer can be ensured.
