Air agitation is a common process in production. Some electroplating factories need to electroless nickel plating workpiece due to the large volume, then correspondingly, electroless nickel plating bath also has a large volume, so that the plating solution is prone to local components of the concentration of non-uniform problems.
When the nickel ions around the workpiece are rapidly consumed and the migration rate of nickel ions in the plating solution is insufficient; or when the stirring is insufficient during the replenishment process of the plating solution, it is easy to produce concentration polarization, which affects the deposition rate of the plating layer, makes the thickness of the plating layer uneven, and even affects the bonding strength of the plating layer and the brittleness. And air stirring can make up for this defect.

When the air inlet is low, air agitation reduces the plating speed while avoiding comet streaks; when the air inlet is too high, the plating layer peels and loses its integrity.
