Insufficient thickness of galvanized layer: After the workpiece is black passivated, if the galvanized layer is too thin, then it will be easily corroded during storage, resulting in the phenomenon of white rust, i.e. small white spots. This is because the thickness of the galvanized layer, as an anodic protective layer, directly affects the corrosion resistance of the passivation film.
Black zinc passivator quality problems: some black passivators due to immature formulations or impure raw materials and other reasons, resulting in the workpiece passivation failed to obtain a dense passivation film. This passivation film not only has poor corrosion resistance, but is also prone to whitening.
