Improve the current density of electrolytic degreasing can accelerate the degreasing speed, shorten the degreasing time, improve the production efficiency, but when the current density is large to a certain extent, the degreasing speed increase is not so fast, but caused by the tank voltage is too high to make the power consumption increase, cathode degreasing hydrogen seepage effect increases.
Under the premise of consuming the same amount of electricity, the higher the cathodic current density, the smaller the degree of hydrogen penetration into the metal, so it is more favorable to choose a higher current density for a short period of time to degrease than to degrease for a long period of time at a low current density.
Excessive current density will produce a large amount of alkali mist and pollute the working environment. In addition, the current density can be appropriately reduced when anodic degreasing to prevent excessive corrosion of the metal.
