    1. Excessive brightener.For some functional workpieces, the coating does not need to be bright when nickel sulfamate is plated, and the brightener should be added according to the lower limit of the process range.If added according to the upper and middle limit, the brightener in the bath will be excessive over a long time, and the coating will be bright and brittle.When the concentration of brightener in the plating solution is high, an appropriate amount of softener and wetting agent can be added to reduce the brittleness of the coating.

    2. The concentration of nickel chloride is high.In the nickel sulfamate process, the brittleness of the coating will be greater when the concentration of nickel chloride is high. Generally, the concentration of nickel chloride should be controlled to be lower than 10g/L.

    3. Current needs buffering.In the general nickel sulfamate process, the current needs to be buffered, that is, the rectifier is soft started. The buffering time is about 1 hour, and the current should not be too high during buffering.

    4. The bath temperature is low or the nickel ion concentration is low.In production, if the bath temperature is low or the nickel ion concentration is low, the conductivity of the bath is poor, and the stress of the coating will be relatively large.At this time, the bath temperature or nickel ion concentration should be appropriately increased to reduce the stress of the coating.
