Low zinc concentration

When using alkaline galvanizing additive Zn-218, the zinc concentration needs to be controlled at 8-15 grams per liter.

High concentration of brightener

Many electroplating factories in order to improve the brightness of the coating, always like to blindly add brightener into the bath, but it is often easy to cause other problems such as slow deposition, to solve the problem, you need to reduce the concentration of brightener.

Excessive acidification

Excessive acid leaching is likely to cause excessive corrosion of the workpiece, the surface of the workpiece is uneven, which naturally affects the normal deposition efficiency of the zinc layer. For this reason, we recommend that the acid leaching time needs to be controlled, and the concentration of the acid leaching solution also needs to be checked to see if it is excessive.

Low temperature

Temperature conditions also have an effect on zinc deposition, a higher working temperature is conducive to increasing the rate of zinc crystallization growth, thereby increasing the rate of deposition, when the temperature is lower, the rate of zinc deposition is significantly reduced, and even the phenomenon of zinc plating can not occur, in the use of alkaline zinc plating additives Zn-218, the plating plant technicians need to control the temperature of about 25 ℃.
