For bright plating, thin plated areas result in poor bright leveling and overall poor appearance due to low cathodic current density.
For anodic coatings (e.g., galvanized), a thin coating that cannot withstand sacrificial corrosion will first cause the substrate to rust. When a part is partially corroded, it is already a substandard product, resulting in several problems: one is the inability to properly deliver to downstream customers, and the other is the waste of metal where the coating is too thick.
We can use Bigely alkaline zinc plating brightener BZ-518, which has good even plating ability and deep plating ability to ensure the uniformity of the plated layer thickness, and the difference between the plated layer thickness in the high and low current density areas is very small, i.e., in a certain time of plating, the low current density area reaches a certain thickness, and the zinc will not be over-deposited in the high current density area, so as to achieve the purpose of saving the metal; and at the same time, due to the thickness of plated layers.
