Zincate zinc plating is a zinc plating process using zinc oxide as the main salt and sodium hydroxide as the complexing agent, and the process requires a zincate zinc plating brightener to obtain a zinc plating layer with detailed crystallization and high brightness over a wide working range.
The advantages of using zincate zinc plating brightener are simple composition, easy to use, less corrosive to steel equipment, low management cost, detailed and bright plating layer, and the passivation film is not easy to change color. It can be transformed by cyanide plating solution, waste water treatment is convenient.
With the advancement of zincate galvanizing additive technology, many technical problems have been gradually solved. Guangdong Bigely Technology developed BZ-513 zincate galvanizing brightener, the brightener has such characteristics:
1. Wide concentration of main salt. The content of zinc ions can work in the range of 7-15g/L, and the stability of plating solution is improved.
2. It is suitable for barrel plating. The concentration of main salt can be increased to 9-18g/L for barrel plating, which is easy to manage.
3. Little brittleness of plating layer. After testing, the thickness of the plating layer in more than 20μm still has the toughness without brittleness, by 180 ℃ dehydrogenation will not blister.
