1. The pH value of the plating solution is too low.The pH value of electroless nickel plating solution is too low, the activity of the plating solution is poor, and the reaction of electroless nickel deposition is slow or stops.When the pH value of the plating solution is too low, use 1:4 ammonia water to adjust the pH value of the plating solution to the process range in time.
2. The bath temperature is too low.The normal reaction temperature of electroless nickel plating solution is 86~91 ℃. When the bath temperature is too low due to power failure or temperature control system failure in the production process, the reaction of electroless nickel deposition is slow or stops.Therefore, the bath temperature should be within the process range in time during the production process.
3. The content of sodium hypophosphite in the plating solution is insufficient.The content of sodium hypophosphite in the bath will affect the stability of the bath and the deposition rate of the coating.When the content of sodium hypophosphite is too low, the deposition rate of electroless nickel plating is slow or unresponsive.During the production process, the content of sodium hypophosphite in the plating solution shall be analyzed in time and the addition and adjustment shall be made in time.
4. Aluminum alloy workpieces are not pre-dipped or pre-dipped with zinc.Aluminum alloy workpieces shall be pre-dip galvanized before electroless nickel plating, and the pre-dip zinc layer on the surface of workpieces shall be checked during electroless nickel plating.If the prepreg is not good, adjust or replace the prepreg zinc plating solution in time to ensure the uniformity of the prepreg zinc layer on the workpiece.
