In the plating industry, nickel-plated workpieces on copper often face many challenges if they need to be unplated and reworked. Conventional depalletizing methods are not only inefficient, but may also cause damage to the copper material, affecting the quality of subsequent processing. Bigely nickel removal agent BT-3 is free of cyanide and anti-dyeing salts, ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly process. This feature makes BT-3 in line with the environmental requirements of electroplating. At the same time, BT-3 has good de-plating ability, for 10 micron thick medium phosphorus electroless nickel plating, it only takes 15 minutes to remove cleanly, which helps to improve the production efficiency.
More importantly, Bigely nickel removal agent BT-3 does not cause any damage to the copper material during the deplating process, effectively removing the nickel layer while protecting the substrate from erosion. As a result, workpieces reworked with BT-3 will maintain good surface quality and mechanical properties during subsequent processing.
