When the pH value <5, the surface of the galvanized layer will be foggy, the dispersing ability of the plating solution and the ability to cover will be reduced; when the pH value >6, the plating solution becomes turbid, the brightness of the galvanized layer decreases, the plating layer is rough, and the edges and corners are easy to scorch.
In order to effectively control the pH value of the plating solution, in addition to the timely addition of hydrochloric acid for adjustment, the following measures can also be taken:
1, Regularly analyze the content of boric acid in the plating solution, and timely replenishment of the amount of boric acid, boric acid should be controlled at 35-40g / L, to ensure that the buffer effect on the plating solution.
2. The anode plate should be taken out in time when production is stopped to reduce the chemical dissolution of zinc anode in the plating solution.
3, The production process should avoid the workpiece falling in the plating tank, the workpiece should be salvaged in time to reduce the zinc and iron dissolved in the plating tank.
4, The workpiece is charged into the tank as far as possible to ensure that the zinc layer completely covers the surface of the workpiece as soon as possible after the workpiece enters the tank.
