1. The temperature of alkali zinc plating solution is too high.If the temperature is too high, the deposition rate is too fast, and the performance of the additive is reduced, which will cause the surface of the workpiece to be rough and not bright.Therefore, we should control the temperature of the plating solution within the process range during the production process.
2. The cathode current density is too large.Excessive current density can cause rough edges and tips of the workpiece.
3. The zinc content in the bath is too high or the content of sodium hydroxide and alkaline galvanizing additives is too low.It is necessary to analyze the plating solution and adjust the content of zinc and sodium hydroxide in the plating solution; whether the content of alkaline galvanizing additives is low can be analyzed and adjusted by the Hull cell test.
4. There are solid particles in the plating solution.If the upper coating of the workpiece is rough, there may be solid particles in the bath.It can be removed by filtration with zinc powder treatment.
