1. The pretreatment should be thoroughly cleaned. The workpiece to be noted for the battery shell has a small hole diameter and deep blind holes. During the pretreatment process, the degreasing solution and acid washing solution are difficult to clean thoroughly. Ultrasonic cleaning can be combined to clean the blind holes of the workpiece thoroughly. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the solution hidden in the blind hole of the workpiece is emptied completely to avoid contaminating the nickel plating solution.
2. The addition of brightener for barrel nickel plating should be done in small amounts. Excessive brightener will affect the covering ability and deep plating ability of the plating solution.
3. The battery shell workpiece itself is light in weight. If there is not enough plating solution or the replenishment in the drum is insufficient, the workpiece is prone to float on the liquid surface and be disconnected from the conductive rod, entering a de-energized state. As a result, the workpiece will have no coating or the coating adhesion will be poor. Therefore, during the production process of battery shell workpieces, the drum should be filled as much as possible and there should be sufficient plating solution to ensure that the workpieces can obtain a good nickel coating.
