① The concentration of sodium hydroxide is too low
When the concentration of sodium hydroxide is too low, the pH value of the solution in the anode area decreases first, resulting in a slower oil removal rate, an increase in oxygen release, and the surface of the workpiece begins to be oxidized. Deposits start to form on the surface, and even obvious brown rust may appear.
