Use air agitation
During the application of the electroless copper plating solution, air stirring must be adopted. Because once the copper ions in the plating solution are reduced to cuprous oxide, the O2 in the air will oxidize the cuprous oxide into Cu2+ ions, thereby inhibiting the formation of copper powder resulting from the disproportionation reaction.
During the mixing process, the electroplating factory needs to follow the guidance of the electroless copper plating solution manufacturer, Bigely and take measures such as oil and dirt removal for the air added to the tank, because doing so can prevent oil and dirt from entering the plating solution.
Add stabilizers to the electroless copper plating solution
There are many commonly used stabilizers. However, when preparing the solution, the dosage of this substance must be strictly controlled. Because if the dosage exceeds the specified range, the electroless copper plating reaction will stop and the copper cannot be completely deposited.
Some electroplating factories aim to cut costs and choose to prepare their own chemical solutions.
