Lead ion impurities in the plating solution are not very common during the application of alkaline galvanizing additives, but they have a significant impact on the plating solution.

When the plant is in production, the main sources of lead impurities are usually the impurity of the anode and poor quality chemical materials. When the lead impurity in alkaline zinc tank reaches 5mg/L, the plating layer has been seriously affected.

Lead ions will reduce the covering ability of the plating solution. When there are too many lead ions in the plating solution, roll plating will not be plated; and after hanging galvanized after dilute nitric acid out of the light, the galvanized layer in the low current density area will be missed, and the place where there is plating solution will be yellowish-brown, or have black streaks.
